Sri Lanka Women's Tour Package (15 - 23 March 2025)
 
Day wise itinerary specially designed by Wander Womaniya for women travelling solo
 
DAY 1: Welcome to Sri Lanka - Galle
 
Arrive at Colombo airport, meet the group and your Wander Womaniya Tour buddy, and we head straight to Galle where we will visit Galle fort & Beach, Galle International Cricket Stadium (from Galle fort), Galle lighthouse (Entry not allowed), Galle Watchtower & proceed to your hotel to Unawatuna / Galle.
 
DAY 2: Mirissa & Weligama (Beach Day)
 
Post breakfast you will have time for optional & chargeable water sports at Weligama (Whale & Dolphin watching trips are quite popular here along with Scuba & Snorkelling). Overnight at your hotel in Unawatuna / Galle. 
 
 DAY 3: Ella (Ravana Waterfall & Little Adam's Peak)
 
Post breakfast we will check out and leave for the laid back town Ella which is increasingly getting famous among backpackers across the World. En route, we will visit Ravana Waterfall (considered to be one of the most massive three-tier waterfalls in Sri Lanka). We will also trek to the highest point in Ella (optional), where you can also enjoy the Flying Raavan (optional & chargeable). The sunset views from the top are worth the hike if you dont want to trek you can rest at the hotel and enjoy the sunset lazing around at hotel. 
 
DAY 4: Ella (9 Arch Bridge & Ravana Caves)
 
Wake up at 5 AM today and start your day with a trek to 9 arch bridge which is one of the most Instagram famous spots in the country. The idea is to reach in time before the scheduled train passes over the bridge at 06:45. Trust us, the views are worth it. Have breakfast at the hotel and have a lazy start to our day. Have breakfast & checkout from Hotel and take the beautiful train ride to Pattipola. 
 
Your luggage will be brought by our traveller/vehicle. We will take the toy train from Nuwara Eliya station, and you can take all those famous train shots & pictures. We will get down at Pattipola which not many people know about. Pattipola is the highest railway station in all of Sri Lanka, and it gives you a feel of Scotland.
 
Overnight at Nuwara Eliya.  
 
DAY 5: Nuwara Eliya (Little England) & Kandy
 
Post breakfast we will visit Gregory Lake in Nuwara Eliya where we recommend you to do a JetSki ride (optional & Chargeable). We will leave for Kandy. Visit the Tooth Relic Temple. The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, or Sri Dalada Maligawa, is a Buddhist temple; since the beginning of time, the relic has been crucial to local politics since it is thought that whoever controls the relic controls the nation's government. The artefact was once in possession of Sinhalese kings.
 
DAY 6: Sigiriya Rock & Dambulla Cave Temple
 
Explore the ancient rock fortress of Sigiriya with ease on this guided full-day tour. Depart from your Kandy hotel in a comfortable vehicle and make your way to the Sigiriya area. Accompanied by your guide, learn about the history of the area and visit Dambulla Cave Temple, Matale Hindu Temple, the Spice Garden, and more.

DAY 7: Spice Garden, Ceylon Tea Estate & Elephant Feeding
 
Post breakfast, we will check out and start our journey back to Colombo. We will visit a Tea factory and learn the process of making Ceylon Tea, Spice Garden (Learn about various exclusive plants found in Sri Lanka) & the elephant orphanage and learn about what is being done to rehabilitate elephants. You can feed the elephants, but riding one is considered inhuman - kindly don't ask for the same. Overnight at Colombo hotel. 
 
P.S. Colombo is famous for casinos & nightlife (transportation on your own)
 
DAY 8: Shopping in Colombo & Freeday
 
Wake up late today & have a lazy morning, post breakfast rest of the day is free to self explore / shop.
 
Day 9: Goodbye & drop to airport
 
Post breakfast we will drop you to the airport as per group timings
