Day wise itinerary specially designed by Wander Womaniya for women travelling solo
DAY 1: Welcome to Sri Lanka - Colombo
Arrive at Colombo airport, meet the group and your Wander Womaniya Tour buddy, and we head straight to your hotel in Colombo. Check in at the hotel and leave for Lotus Tower for panaromic views of the city. We will have local dinner today which includes kottu roti, hoppers.
Overnight at Colombo HotelDAY 2: Galle
Post breakfast we will checkout from Colombo and head to Galle. Galle is a jewel. A Unesco World Heritage Site, this historic city is a delight to explore on foot, an endlessly exotic old trading port blessed with imposing Dutch-colonial buildings, ancient mosques and churches, grand mansions and museums. However the best part is the endless ocean which you can see from the Galle fort walls. Overnight at Hotel in Welligama / Mirissa.

Day 3: Mirissa & Weligama (Beach Day)
Post breakfast you will have time for optional & chargeable water sports at Weligama (Whale & Dolphin watching trips are quite popular here along with Scuba & Snorkelling).
Also visit conconut hill for sunset today.
Overnight at your hotel in Mirissa / WelligamaDAY 4: Ella
Post breakfast we checkout and start our journey to the hill side of Sri Lanka Visit the majestiv Ravana Waterfall enroute. Overnight stay at Ella Guest HouseDAY 5: (Little Adam's Hill - Optional) - Nuwara Eliya
We recommend a sunrise hike to Little Adam's Hill (as its an optional hike, your tour buddy can assist you in arranging the same - there will be tuk tuk charges applicable per person). Its one the best places to witness the sunrise in Sri Lanka. Post breakfast we checkout from Ella and enjoy a scenic ride to Nuwara Eliya. Evening we will visit the Gregory lake.
Overnight at Nuwara Eliya
DAY 6: Kandy with Tooth Relic Temple
Post breakfast checkout and we will leave for Kandy. Visit the Tooth Relic Temple. The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, or Sri Dalada Maligawa, is a Buddhist temple; since the beginning of time, the relic has been crucial to local politics since it is thought that whoever controls the relic controls the nation's government. The artefact was once in possession of Sinhalese kings.Overnight at Kandy HotelDAY 7: Pinnawala Elephant Feeding & Colombo
Post breakfast, we will check out and start our journey back to Colombo. We will visit a an elephant orphanage and learn about what is being done to rehabilitate elephants. You can feed the elephants, but riding one is considered inhuman - kindly don't ask for the same. Drop to Colombo airport by evening. End of Trip
