Finland | Northern Lights (3 - 9 March 2025)
Exoplore the Lapland of Finland with us this winter.
Day wise itinerary specially designed by Wander Womaniya for women traveling solo
Day 1: Welcome to Finland (The happiest country in the world)
Arrive at Helsinki airport & meet the group and tour buddy from Wander Womaniya. Overnight at a hotel in Helsinki. Connect over welcome dinner.Day 2: Day Trip to Tallinn (Estonia)
Yes we are gonna cross the international borders and visit the old town of Tallinn which lies across the coast of Estonia. (Your Schenegen Visa allows you to do this, isnt that cool?)
Post an early breakfast we will head to Helsinki port and board the cruise to Tallinn (Estonia). We will explore the Medieval Old Town of Tallinn, a UNESCO World Heritage Site on foot today independently. Also Estonia is a country visited by very less people so its certainly an offbeat experience.
Overnight at Hotel in Helsinki.Day 3: Helsinki to Rovaniemi (Chasing Aurora)
After breakfast, we will checkout & head to Helsinki airport to catch a flight to Rovaniemi.
Upon reaching Rovaniemi, check into your hotel and rest for the day as we start aurora hunting today. The best places to see the Northern Lights lie off the beaten track away from light pollution—which makes them hard for visitors to find. Local guide picks the location with the best chance of a viewing on this 2.5 hour Northern lights hunting evening tour.
Overnight at Rovaniemi

Post Breakfast get introduced to the Reindeers. Yes, you guessed it right it is time to visit a Reindeer Farm, surrounded by snowy mountains. Glide through tranquil forests as you travel along frosted pathways on a Traditional Reindeer Sleigh (the region’s most popular sport).
Later in the evening, we'll travel outside the city to hopefully witness the rare phenomenon of the Aurora Borealis that is visible in the arctic region on pitch dark sky away from city lights.
