Vietnam with Halong bay Cruise & Cambodia (3 - 12 May 2025)
 
Day-wise itinerary specially designed by Wander Womaniya for solo travellers
 
Day 1: Arrival in Ha-Noi
 
Arrive at Ha-Noi airport, complete the immigration formalities & meet your tour buddy along with the group, followed by check into your hotel. Have local cuisine PHO for dinner.

Day 2: Ha-Long Bay Cruise
 
Post breakfast, we will checkout from hotel at 8AM and take our luggage along.
 
After a roughly 2.5 hour road journey we will head gather at the pier & check-in onboard the cruise, you will receive cruise briefing and safety instructions. Lunch will be served in the restaurant on board - as you savor the exquisite Vietnamese and international cuisines, the cruise will slowly head pass beautiful islets in Halong Bay such as Da Chong, Con Vit, and Gia Luan.
 
We will get off and experience the Trung Trang Cave - the largest valley on Cat Ba Island with beautiful stalactites. After that, you will have an opportunity to swim in the crystal water of Tra Bau Area.
 
Later return to our cruise to watch the amazing sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin.

Day 3: Halong Bay - Danang
 
Post breakfast we will go be transferred by canoes to explore the bay area with time for swimming/ kayaking, followed by checkout from cruise. Head back to pier and get transferred to Hanoi airport for your flight to Danang.

Day 4: My khe beach & Hoi An
 
By now we have had a tiring trip already, so today you have free time to relax and chill at the beautiful My-Khe beach. It is a beatiful and clean beach where you can do some watersports and swim or just choose to take a sunbed to sunbathe.
 
(You can also choose to go to experience basket boat ride instead of free time at beach, it can be arranged at an additional cost)
 
Evening we will go to explore Hoi An old city. It was recently awarded as the most popular tourist destination in the world. There is a river where you can go and take the lantern boat ride at sunset , explore the vibrant streets, try the egg coffee or smokey icecream, shop your heart out and what not! Have local Pho (Soupy rice noodles with Chicken / Beef / Veg options for dinner)

Day 5: Golden Bridge & Bana Hills
 
Post breakfast we head towards Bana Hills.  Full day to explore Bana Hills, which has the golden bridge, french town, arcade centre, numerous cafes & much more. 
 
Evening we will visit Hoi An night market. At this market, you will be immersed in the bustling shopping space and get attracted to many dishes with the unique regional taste.
 
Overnight at Danang. 
 
Day 6: Danang to Ho Chi Minh
 
Post breakfast we checkout and take a flight to Ho chi minh City also called as Saigon. Upon reaching we check in to our hotel and visit the Ta hien street to explore the nighlife.

Day 7: Cu chi Tunnels and Book Street
 
We start the day at 11 am post breakfast where we go to Cu chi tunnels to learn about the tunnels which were used by Viet Cong soldiers as hiding spots during combat, as well as serving as communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters for numerous North Vietnamese fighters. You can also fire an ak 47 here (optional & chargeable) followed by the book street.
 
A paradise for book lovers, Nguyen Van Binh or Book Street is a 100m stretch of book shops, kiosks, stalls and cafes that are perfect for a literary getaway. Shady trees line the street where many publishing houses seek to promote their books. Fiction, Non-Fiction, Travelogues, Children's literature - all genres can be found here. Some of the shops even sell postcards and second-hand books at throwaway prices.

Day 8 Goodbye Vietnam, Hello Cambodia
 
Post breakfast, Drop to Airport for your flight to Cambodia. 
 
Upon arrival at Siam Reap, pickup from airport and drop to hotel in Siam Reap.

Day 9 Angkor Wat
 
Sunrise Tour of Angkor Complex covering Ta Prohm, Ta Nei Temple, The Victory Gate, Bayon Temple, Baphuon Temple, Phimeanakas, Terrace of the Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King and Phnom Bakheng.

Day 10: Goodye South East Asia
 
Post breakfast drop to Siam Reap airport for your flight back home.
